MCE: tha advertising campaign involving thousands of visitors, all set to go

The exhibition website, www.mcexpocomfort.it is the online point of reference providing a full overview of the novelties offered to all visitors and exhibitors and helping them to plan in detail their visit to MCE.

Milan, 23rd September 2009 - Nearly 6 months from the beginning of MCE – MOSTRA CONVEGNO EXPOCOMFORT 2010, the world’s leading exhibition in the heating, renewable energy sources, air-conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and sanitary fitting sectors, components, water treatment and the bathroom world, scheduled for 23rd – 27th March 2010, at Fiera Milano Exhibition Centre in Rho. So far MCE has recorded an attendance figure of over 1.200 Italian and foreign exhibiting companies, occupying more than 85% of the whole exhibition area.

"To support MCE 2010 – declared Massimiliano Pierini Exhibition Director, - we developed an ad hoc promotional strategy selecting an effective media mix to spread a coherent and univocal message using, in turn, the most suitable tool according to the wide range of targeted Italian and international trade visitors. The strategy’s objectives are to improve the calibre of professionals attending MCE together with our loyal visitors and above all, in the light of the evolution of the reference sector, to increase the number of new operators and emerging professionals, offering countless opportunities to develop new business contacts."

An advertising campaign, which will be deployed in more than 300 publications selected from the major dailies and specialized Italian and international press, communication in the most important mass circulation newspapers and magazines, co-marketing actions conducted with the main publishers and reference sector associations, direct mail activities centred around a qualified and selected database containing a list of about 300.000 names, and finally, invitations formulated for major professional categories, namely: builder, buyer, distributor, wholesaler, general contractor and designer delegations from all over the world and in particular, Balkans, Central and Eastern Europe, Mediterranean Basin, United Arab Emirates and Gulf Countries, China.

"All through the advertising campaign conducted for MCE 2010 an important role will be played by www.mcexpocomfort.it, which has become over the years the online point of reference for all professionals in the sector - added Massimiliano Pierini Exhibition Director – thanks to a number of dedicated services offered online. From the beginning of this year until now, considering the lack of particular attention paid to a biennial exhibition, we have registered 38.994 visitors (comprising 70% new visitors), with a 30% rise in web-pages viewed during last 4 months compared to previous 4 ones. In the epoch of global information, the first point of reference for an exhibition is its website that, 3 months before the event, records 84.481 average visits, becoming a privileged tool to easily have useful information on: exhibiting companies, products, access and application for registering, regular newsletter, scenario news but, above all, initiative update, confirming its position as the "feather in cap" of the exhibition.

The new look website, www.mcexpocomfort.it has been renewed in its graphic, providing a very thorough overview of the services offered to exhibitors and visitors. Amongst online novelties a special section "Companies News", which will show off news about best in class products, company’s initiatives and case histories updated by exhibitors every month. An online showcase, appearing on homepage’s website, to increase the visibility of exhibiting companies before the beginning of MCE, and a useful information tool for visitors, journalists and all operators visiting the exhibition. Along with other sections about useful information to visit the exhibition, the new section "Companies News", has been warmly received by exhibitors, who have provided more than 100 news, from March until now.

In this context www.mcexpocomfort.it will also be the reference point for unique initiatives offered by MCE 2010. In particular, the ENERGY EFFICIENCY & INNOVATION ITINERARY, aimed at all exhibitors who will submit online their best in class products for improving energy conservation and energy efficiency, by 31st October. A Scientific Committee will shortlist the most innovative products that stand out for their cutting-edge criteria, in all categories. From Autumn 2009 until the end of 2010, these products will participate to the ENERGY EFFICIENCY & INNOVATION ITINERARY, creating an online database to be consulted easily by all professionals in the sector. BEMA in synergy with ENERGY EFFICIENCY & INNOVATION ITINERARY will select products of excellence in the building sector, through the portal www.ediliziainrete.it. ENERGY EFFICIENCY & INNOVATION ITINERARY organized in collaboration with the Polytechnic of Milan, Best Department – is not only virtual, but a visible path through the exhibition stands. The crowning moment of this initiative will be VERSO LA CLASSE A 2010: MCE will offer an exhibition space, dedicated to the most innovative plant engineering solutions, with a successful integration between building and installation technologies, selected by a Scientific Committee, stimulating designers to project high-performance energy efficiency buildings.

Moreover, www.mcexpocomfort.it is the point of reference to know in advance the list of companies exhibiting at 3DSTEREO SHOWROOM, an event taking place under the umbrella of EXPOBAGNO, the prestigious showcase of MCE dedicated to the bathroom world. For the first time, this initiative will show a new way to conceive the set design for a point of sale, combining innovative technologies and emotional marketing. 3DSTEREO SHOWROOM will be set up as a real example of a showroom taking into account future trends, using a Black Box simulating furnished interiors with 3DSTEREO virtual and photorealistic presentation.

Finally, www.mcexpocomfort.it will help visitors to plan their exhibition visit creating an excellent opportunity to develop new business contacts: access at the Exhibition Centre, travel and accommodation, online pre-registration to avoid very long queues on onsite registration to attend congresses, exhibitors’ list and new products and solutions offered by exhibiting companies.
